Who We Are

HSAA Ultimate Frisbee is a competitive HS and MS Team Sport for co-ed teams.   Middle School is for grades 6th - 8th grades.  High School is for  grades 9th through 12th.

PROGRAM COST

We are offering Fall, Spring and Year Round options for both middle school and high school.

Price includes HSAA dues, competition fees, disc, field rental, coach uniform/fee, equipment, etc.
High School registration includes senior gifts and HSAA banquet.  Uniforms are a separate cost.

UNIFORMS

Uniform costs will start at $85.00.  These will include a light jersey, dark jersey, shorts, reversible and hat.  We will be using the same uniforms as Spring 2024, so if you played in the Spring 2024 you do not need to purchase a new uniform.

TRYOUTS

We will hold tryouts to determine team placement.  We realize competitive ultimate frisbee may be new to many players.  We don’t want to turn away any players as long as we have enough coaches for practices.  We hope to have 2 middle school teams, and 2 high school teams (JV and Varsity.)  Ideally each team will have 12 – 16 players.

Players should wear cleats (soccer) if you have them and bring a white and dark shirt.
Location will either be  Allen, Plano, or Carrollton.

Aug 24:        

New parent meeting 8:30 - 8:50 am
Open clinic 9 - 11:30 (Location Ford Park in Allen)

Mon, Aug 26:

All Team meeting 6:30 - 8:00 pm at Wood creek church - Richardson

Thur, Aug 29: (Tryouts)

Middle School Tryouts 4:00 – 5:30 pm
High School Tryouts 5:45 pm– 7:30 pm

Thur, Sept 5: (Tryouts)

Middle School Tryouts 4:00 – 5:30 pm
High School Tryouts 5:45 pm– 7:30 pm

Sat, Sept 7: (HS Tryouts Only)

High School Tryouts 9 am– 11:30 am

Location for tryouts will be  Plano, Allen or Carrollton.  Will update 10 days prior.
Tryout Registration cost is $25.00 per person.  Please register as soon as possible so coaches can plan the tryouts.

FALL PRACTICE

Practices will be Monday and Thursday afternoons/evenings.  Saturday practices will be once or twice a month. Practice will run mid September – Mid November.  High School teams may have additional practices Wednesday or Saturday.  They will start Saturday, September 14.

Coaches

We are in desperate need of more coaches.  Competitive ultimate frisbee experience would be nice, but it is not required to coach.  Please indicate your willingness to coach on the registration forms.

More information about these will be given as the season starts.  We plan to have scrimmages starting in October.  Tournaments – one or two available for high school.  Clinics / mini tournament is for both Middle School and High School.
