Steven Houston

Steven Houston graduated from The Colony High School, where he was a top basketball recruit in the state of Texas. He was named a McDonald's All-American and was selected to play on the USA Olympic Junior National Team. Steven attended Texas A&M University, where he was Second Team All Big-12 Conference and First Team All-Defensive Player. He later transferred to Oakland University where he completed his collegiate basketball career.

Steven began coaching in 2005 and founded the Run and Shoot Hoops Sports Club in 2006, which grew to include 17 boys and girls teams and five coaching staff at its peak. With 18+ years of coaching experience, coupled with a passion for the youth, Steven has developed an exceptional ability to develop the skills, knowledge, and character needed to excel at the collegiate level and beyond, on and off the court.
