Reggie Davis
Head Coach
I have coached and played at the highest level and have trained athletes at all levels - from elementary flag football to the NFL. My gift and passion are coaching and teaching. And doing it all to the glory of God!
When I came to Christ:
I came to Christ at the age of 4. My mom saw me staring at a picture of Jesus and repeating over and over, "Jesus please come into my heart. Jesus please come into my heart." She sat me down and explained to me my need for salvation and God's plan to reconcile us back to Him through the shed blood of His Son, Jesus.
Favorite Bible verse: Eph. 3:20-21
Family: Coach Davis has a family full of athletes. His wife, Jennifer, played basketball at Duke University. Together, they have five children, including two sets of twin boys! Their eldest and only daughter plays volleyball at Davidson College. Their oldest set of twin boys are seniors on the HSAA Varsity team who have committed to play football for the Air Force Academy. Their youngest twins are sophomores on the HSAA Varsity team. They have been homeschooling for 15+ years.
Why I love coaching:
I love teaching the game, as well as seeing young men grow in their knowledge & love for the sport. Lastly, getting to use the game of football to teach young men life lessons that will enable them to be great husbands and fathers one day, is priceless.
